1969 – Murder inquest into death of
Josip Kumarich, his killers were members of the Hong Kong police. In
Nov 1969 two of his brothers, Tony and Ivan, came from Yugoslavia,
emigrated to NZ. 1968 Josip flew to Yugoslavia. Josip died in Hong

1973 – Sparticus education. In 1973
Nugan and Michael Hand set up Nugan Hand bank. Nugan ran operations
in Sydney where as Hand set up a branch in Hong Kong. Australia to
access a money laundering facility for illegal transfers of

1979 – BCCI’s biggest Asian outpost
was Hong Kong. In 1979 BCCI had 50% of Hong Kong metropolitan bank.
BCCI nearly got 100%. BCCI changed its name to Bank of Credit and
Commerce Hong Kong ltd.
1982-97 – Corruption 14K, the Wo
Shing Wo and Sun Yee On were all expanding across Asia. Building
empires of gambling, sex slavery, extortion, drug trafficking, money

the casinos controlling high rollers that doubled as money laundering

1990-91 – General Khun Sa, warlord in
Burma who controlled 80% of the regions opium trade. In 1990 he was
indicted in the US on federal drugs charges but remained a fugitive.
In Mid 1991 he had deposited about $300 million in BCCI. The accounts
were fed from Taiwan and Hong Kong.
1991 – Hong Kong banks for drug and
sex trafficking from Laos, Thailand, Burma aka Myanmar, and Cambodia.

1910 – Vickers were bidding against
Armstrong to build the battleship Kongo for Japan. They arranged to
pay large suns to Japans rear Admiral Fujii who was advising on
estimates. Vickers got the contract worth 2.4 million pounds. The
Kongo was delivered three years later. An inquiry said the web of
bribery which included the rear Admiral and agents Mitsui who bribed
a friend in the naval stores department. Trials followed the rear

out the details of Operation 2, a southward thrust of Japans naval
power, preceded by a strike against the US Pacific fleet, that would

was invaded by Japan, whose forces swept south through the peninsula,
overrunning the British, Indian and Australian forces which faced
them on 10 Dec 1941, the Royal navy suffered loss of the battleships,

torpedo bombers.

June 1944-August 1945 – Relentless US
bombing raids on Japan from June 1944 to August 1945 killed hundreds
of thousands of Japanese civilians and destroyed nearly two thirds of
the buildings in Japans 66 largest cities, according to a US
strategic bombing survey. Even tasking into account the atomic tolls
on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, most civilian deaths and injuries were

9 July 1944 – By 1944 the US captured
more Japanese occupied territory. US forces took Saipan. The toll was
enormous. 30,000 Japanese troops and 22,000 civilians were killed.
The US counted 3,000 dead and over 10,000 wounded in the month long
